October To-Do List

This might be boring to some people but I'm a big list maker and this wedding has me making a ton of to-do lists. I have a big planning binder and a few master lists that I'll show in another post, but another thing I do is make a to-do list every month. I feel like looking at those big long wedding checklists on TheKnot or any other wedding site, tend to be intimidating.

I've been creating a new to-do list at the beginning of each month to help me keep on track and keep my goals for the month in mind. Below is my to-do list for October, which makes us 9 months out from the wedding.

1. Work on Wedding Website
2. Research/Meet with Videographers
3. Make and send Save-The-Dates
4. Finalize Ceremony plans
5. Find Officiant
6. Research/Meet with Bakers
7. Research/Meet with Florists
8. Start the dress search!!
9. Research/Meet with DJ’s/Bands
10. Start on any DIY projects that can hold up for 9 months
11. Sign contract with Hotels for room block
12. Negotiate a discount on hotel rooms
13. Take Engagement Pictures
14. Figure out roles for nieces and nephews and ask them to participate

How do you keep track of your tasks for the month?
