Let the indecision begin!

Making decisions about your wedding is a lot easier before you're engaged. Then they don't mean anything. I've found that now that I'm actually engaged and these decisions actually mean something, I don't want to make them.

One of the most common questions we get when someone finds out we're engaged is "Have you set a date?" And our answer is "no". Well, actually it's "No, we've narrowed it down to three seasons and a year". Thankfully that year is 2011 so we have plenty of time to decide whether we want to have our wedding in the Summer, Fall or Winter of 2011.

I see amazing qualities in each of those seasons and could picture us getting married in any of them. Summer with all the flowers and the warm air, Fall with the changing leaves and (in my opinion) awesome temperatures, or Winter with the gorgeous snow.

Right now our plan is this: This spring we're going to dive into finding a venue. Once we find a venue that we love, we're going to see what their rates are for different times of year and use that information to make a decision on the date. Well, that's what we hope to do anyway.
